Afternoon: choose from two fast feedback sessions, two workshops

  1. “Nail the Pain:” a key success building block and how to attack it
  2.  “Problem Discovery” tools, techniques, and talk tracks for your plan
  3. Coaches host “fast feedback” sessions


EVENING: 1on1 sessions with your coaches

SUNDAY  
Morning Coffee: open forum for your feedback to us, your questions, our ideas
Attend three of six morning sessions:

  1. Customer Discovery: Basic Rules and Tools
  2. Workshop: Develop Your Discovery “Talk Track”
  3. Customer Discovery Demos and Practice
  4. Processing the Customer Discovery Feedback You Have
  5. Fast Feedback: two more one-on-one coaching sessions


LUNCH with the coaches

Afternoon: choose from two of four workshops:

  1. Competitive Analysis tactics and tools; using it to guide your value proposition
  2. Competitive Analysis workshop: Start the Process online; build your offline plan
  3. Identifying Direct and Indirect Competitors, Digital and Analog Competitors
  4. Workshop: How to Realign Your Value Proposition in the face of Competition



Session 2,  Saturday / Sunday  -- October 19-20
FOCUS: Processing Feedback, Optimizing the Business, and Developing the Investor Pitch

SATURDAY  
Morning Coffee/Progress Report: Fast-fire feedback on teams’ progress
Choose from two of six morning sessions:

  2. Revenues and Cost Structures and How to Improve Both
  3. “Survival Math:” Calculating Time to Breakeven
  4. E-Marketing Tools: an Overview

LUNCH: Barbecue, break, then Chat’n’cookies with the coaches
Afternoon: choose two workshops

  1. Understanding the “other” key elements of the Business Model
  2. Sources of Funding and Investment
  3. Preparing your Investor Pitch: an Architecture and Some Examples
  4. A Dozen Dumb, Expensive Mistakes I’ve Made so You Don’t Need To

LUNCH: Develop the First Draft of Your Most ImportantPitch
Afternoon: “Round Robin” feedback sessions where teams present their pitch to a coach or investor for indepth feedback.  Teams process the feedback and pitch the same or another investor through the afternoon, with each team hopefully completing at least two iterations of their investor pitch before falling over, exhausted. 

4:30: CELEBRATION!
